Lovely vintage linen curtains I found in a shop off Brick Lane in London. I love the color and pattern, and am using it to make patchwork quilts and pillow cushions. Always looking for vintage English fabric . . . .

Vintage fabric bunting and "corsages"
Getting ready for summer . . . .bunting made from Cath Kidston and vintage English fabric (reversible) and fabric corsages; I clip them to ballet flats, glue them to hair elastics and headbands for little girls, and wear them on a tweed blazer lapel. I love these soft, English country colors . . . .More to come soon :)

Lavender sachets
I whipped these up this morning, and they are making my office smell like a field of lavender! I used scraps from a quilt and some antique linens from my husband's grandmother, Lucy.

English baby quilt
I made this for my English godson Jack's new baby sister, Libby. It makes me so happy just to look at it! I do love patchwork.
Here's a link to Emma Bridgewater's patchwork quilt she made for her daughter. I love Emma Bridgewater's pottery, and I was delighted to discover that one of her favorite hobbies is hand sewing. She makes patchwork quilts for each of her children, made from their father's shirts, and old dresses and aprons, in the best patchwork tradition.

Curtains from a twin sheet
I finally have curtains for my office/mudroom/studio, and I made them from a lovely organic cotton sheet I bought at Target. With the rest of the sheet set I made cushion covers for my living room couch. Total cost: approximately $27.

Pink Roses Teapot
Can anyone tell me anything about this teapot? It was given to my mother by her mother in 1963. We both love it, and I saw it in a photo in the December 2012 issue of Country Living UK, page 77.
